IF Skjold Birkerød was one of 110 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Kronborg Cup 2024. They participated with 5 teams in Boys 2013 A, Boys 2013 C, Boys 2011 A 11v11, Boys 2011 C 11v11 and Boys 2010 B respectively. Two teams played until Bronze match in Playoff A; Boys 2011 A 11v11 lost against Boldklubben Vestia by 4-5 and Boys 2010 B lost against Dragør Boldklub Gul by 1-2.

In addition to this, IF Skjold Birkerød have participated in Kronborg Cup before. During Kronborg Cup 2023, Skjold Birkerød had 5 teams playing in Boys 2012 B, Boys 2012 C, Boys 2011 B, Boys 2011 C and Boys 2009 B respectively. The team in Boys 2011 B made it to the the Bronze match in Playoff Aand won it over Kjøbenhavns Boldklub Hvid by 3-0.

Skjold Birkerød comes from Birkerød which lies approximately 25 km from Helsingør, where Kronborg Cup takes place. The area around Birkerød does also provide 105 additional clubs participating during Kronborg Cup 2024 (Among others: Ramløse IF, Borsholm-Skibstrup IF, Værløse BK, Helsingør IF Fodbold, Lundtofte Boldklub, Taastrup FC, Herlev IF, Brede IF, Brødeskov IF and Frederikssund IK).
