Skovshoved Idrætsforening was one of 109 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Kronborg Cup 2023. They participated with two teams in Boys 2015 A and Boys 2007/2008 B respectively. The team in Boys 2007/2008 B made it to the the Bronze match in Playoff A, but lost it against Humlebæk BK by 0-6.

In addition to this, Skovshoved Idrætsforening have participated in Kronborg Cup before. During Kronborg Cup 2022, Skovshoved Idrætsforening had three teams playing in Boys 2009 B 11v11, Boys 2009 B/C 8v8 and Boys 2006/2007 A respectively. The team in Boys 2006/2007 A made it to the the in Group playand won it over Helsingborg City FC by 3-0.

Skovshoved Idrætsforening comes from Klampenborg which lies approximately 31 km from Helsingør, where Kronborg Cup takes place. The area around Klampenborg does also provide 106 additional clubs participating during Kronborg Cup 2023 (Among others: Ålholm IF, Vestegnens bold akademi, Jyllinge FC, Borstahusens BK, Boldklubben 1908, FIF, Hillerød, BK Vestia, Herlev IF, Kastrup Boldklub and Havdrup GI).
